Jeff joined Smith, Watson, Company, LLP in July of 2019.  Prior to joining Smith Watson, Jeff spent the prior decade at a large, regionally based, public accounting firm in Denver, Colorado where he was a partner in the firm’s tax practice.  Prior to Denver, Jeff worked in public accounting in Boston.  His practice is primarily focused on working with individuals, their families, and related businesses and holding companies.   Specializing in tax, he offers clients extensive experience and insight related to complex individual tax compliance and strategy, financial and philanthropic planning, and trust and estate design.

Passionate about the Berkshires, Jeff is active in the community serving on the board of directors of the Berkshire Natural Resources Council and the Berkshire Family YMCA.  He is a past board member of the Denver Area Council – Boy Scouts of America, the Economic Club of Colorado, the Colorado Philanthropic Advisors Network, and the Denver Estate Planning Council.
